Our guest for this Science Supper is Dr. Michael Platt, Professor of Psychology, Neuroscience, and Marketing at the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Platt is known for asking some of the most challenging questions in 21st century neuroscience, and conceiving innovative ways to find the answers. The Platt lab tries to understand how the brain makes decisions and motivates behavior, drawing from ideas at the intersection of economics, psychology, evolutionary biology, and neuroscience.
